View justification: Centered or Fixed ?

Hi,

I have a problem with automatic movement of views. Most described issues online are solved

with setting the view justification to fixed.

But what I experience  is that the fixed setting is also moving the view when a skeleton sketch is modified.

So when the skeleton is enlarged, parts, which are depended of that skeleton, will move accordingly.

This will move the view in the drawing when set to fixed.

Should I use centered instead ?

To add to my question:

Is "Fixed" towards the UCS ?

Is "Centered" the center of the Assembly /Part ?

Hi Tobias,

Yes, the Fixed option essentially locks the view port to the location relative to the model source's coordinate system. The Centered option moves the view according to the "center" of the model source.

Many thanks!
