Use (material/product info/model) text in parts list

I'm trying to use the (model) text box from within (material/product information) as our factory material inventory number. I'd like to show this number on the drawing.

Is there a way to pull this information to use in a parts list?

Would you go into a bit more detail?  I am a little confused by what you mean by  (model) text box from within (material/product information).  If you can provide either pics or a screen cast that would be helpful.

I believe it is the info in when you edit the material, in the Identity tab > Product info....
