Hello,

Can any one help me for solution one troubleshooting with Inventor 2012?

I opened sketch and drawn construction lines in it, after that I opened new sketch and tried to use construction lines from a first sketch.

In addition, I share the first sketch too, but this does help.

How can I do it?

In the new sketch use the Project Geometry command to project the geometry from the first sketch into the second sketch.

I try to correct my explanation, the sketch with construction line, I didn't convert it to object or feature.
Possible in this reason, it doesn't work properly?

No, that is not the reason.

Attach your *.ipt file here and end all doubt.

With your actual *.ipt file - I will be able to find the reason without any explanation in written words.

What happens if you -

1. Reboot your computer.

2. Start a new part file.

3. Start a sketch and create a construction line.

4. Exit first sketch and start a second sketch.  Select Project Geometry and pick the construction line from the first sketch?

Have you installed all Service Packs and Updates for your version of Inventor?

That is a very old release - did it used to work properly?

What happens if you go to Tools>Application Options>Hardware tab and set to Software Graphics?

What version of Windows OS are you running?

I have access to Inventor 2012; just tried to project a construction line from one sketch on to another and it worked. It projects as a construction line in the new sketch but you change it after you project it.

Sometimes you just need a good old reboot.

Hi StanislavSpektor,

Here's a quick video of how it should work.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
