Unable to Rotate an imported sketch

All I am trying to do is rotate the sketch. I keep getting this error about constraints. There should not be any constraints.

This is an imported sketch from an Autocad drawing. I can copy it, move it but I cannot rotate it.

This seems like a glitch/bug to me. I saw similar threads, but most solutions there did not work.

I guess Johnson's idea of making a block out of the sketch would work, but I have a quicker solution below.

My workaround is to select "Copy" and simply generate a copy of the sketch elements you wish to rotate. If you rotate them using a center point that is far enough you do not have to worry about the copy overlapping the original, and then just delete the original and move your copy to anywhere you'd like:

OMG Thank you! You won the Internet for today.
It feels like it should be so easy. I have been inserting a lot of AutoCAD stuff lately but this pesky DWG had me pulling out hair i don't even HAVE!
