Transparency adjustment in assembly

I can make a part within an assembly transparent by using the right mouse button and choosing transparency.  Is there any way to adjust the percentage of transparency applied? I want to decrease the amount and make it a little less transparent...

Don't feel too bad.. I think its not very intuitive to have it adjusted by something called "inactive component %" as making a part transparent doesn't make it "inactive"..

Thats the same setting for when you edit a part in an assembly it turns all other parts to that opacity %..

IMO I would have made a new setting for it or changed the title to "inactive/transparent component" to make it clearer to its intent..

Hi,

Why the inactive component appearance transparency changes suddenly between 66% to 67% opaque.

When at 66% the inactive components are transparent but when we change to 67% the inactive components transparency changes suddenly to opaque.

There is no gradual changes in transparency.

Is there any settings for this issue.

Please Advice. Thanks

I have the same issue by my step change happens at 99%.

At 99% the part is virtually invisible but at 100% it is solid.

My part material is Generic/Smooth White and I am using the Grey Room IBL.
