Toggle 'Reference' BOM type with Model states.

I just want to confirm that this isn't possible before making an idea station post.

Ideally I would be able to switch one assembly to 'reference' BOM type in an assembly using model states without that assembly reverting to 'ref' in the others.

I believe it work in assembly with model state.

In assembly, on browser, right click the part/subassembly -> BOM Structure

Model State will remember that.

The one in Document Setting doesn't work.

Hi Andrew,

Yes, for instance-level override, it is supported as Frederick indicated. But, no if you are looking for the default BOM structure property in the Doc settings. Also, the instance-level BOM structure override is only available to change in the Model State within the hosting assembly not the nested-level Model States.

Many thanks!
