I have a boom and bracket assembly for a drilling machine, and I have a single hydraulic cylinder to tilt it back and forth by 4 inches. I've been having troubles eliminating all of the redundancies and still have it work correctly. I read to have a point-line joint, which does eliminate the redundancy, but the cylinder doesn't follow along a central axis and flies apart. For whatever reason it doesn't like a cylindrical joint and it says the error is in the Ry. Are there other options that may fix it?
