Constraint Issues - The assembly cannot be solved

Still a pretty new Inventor user as my background is mostly with AutoCAD Electrical. However, I'm working on lab layouts for our engineering building and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Basically, any part or subassembly I drop into my main assembly throws the error "The assembly cannot be solved"... so unless I force it "Accept the relationship" I don't have much luck. What are possible causes of this that I can investigate?

Mostly just constraining to the walls and floor

Can you share images of your model browser or video of your process? Can you share the model, or make a simplified model that only has the components that are causing you issues?

Hi! Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated. Also install the latest Inventor update. Inventor 2024 RTM has a bug blocking all DOF of a component pattern participant. It had been corrected in the updates.

A few more things to check. Go to Tools -> App Options -> Assembly -> check "Enable redundant relationship analysis." Then go to Manage -> Rebuild All.

Lastly, make sure there is a logical grounded part. The big container is a good part to be grounded.

Many thanks!

I've done this and still see issues. Not sure what to look for next...

the problem is there from the start.

Red cross on the top ribbon is on even before you place new component.

You have some conflict in pre existing constrains.

You need to examine constrains and solve the conflict before continuing.

Without actual model it is impossible to say more.

@Cris-Ideas was right. I just had a bunch of conflicting relationships that I deleted and cleaned up. Things now seem to work properly. Thank you so much!!
