Title Block does not Dock in corner

Why does this titleblock insert some distance from the border of the drawing?

How do I correct this?

Thanks

You need to build a border in Inventor, don't try to bring in AutoCAD ones.

Thanks, Mark, but I don't use AutoCAD Smiley Frustrated

This Template was based on the am_din.dwg template in Inventor 2015.

Hi,

Look at the screencast.

The title block aligns to the default border, not to your autocad block.

Change it and it will align.

Edit: I agree with Mark though, better build it in Inventor.

the am in am_din is AutoCAD Mechanical.  Try using the Inventor DIN.idw and copy in your titleblock there.  You will probably have better performance overall.

Thanks for taking the trouble of doing that screencast but, sadly, it does not help.

It is too small for me to be able to see what you are doing, and I can't find a way to enlarge it.  Also, there is no audio,

I just cannot make out what you have done.

Thanks, Mark, but when I use DIN.idw how do I change the format to A4?  Trying to select from available formats does nothing.

The first things appears to be to get an A4 Portrait format, then I can think about a border, then I can think about a titleblock.

Is that the right track?

Thanks for that.  Once I got to see what you did (thanks Mark) that worked fine.
