How do I make flat coil?

I'm trying to make a wire coil and so far I've been able to easily sketch it. I just can't seem to give it volume. Check out the image below

What version of Inventor are  you using.

I would simply spiral Coil a rectangle

or

spiral Coil a line as a surface body and Thicken.

Examples attached.

Does not require (and I would not use) a 3D sketch.
