I have a part with a tapped hole. When I make the hole thread 7/16 ANSI the inner and outer edges of the thread are shown both in plan (dashed circle) and elevation (dashed line parallel to the hole side). But when I make the thread 7/16 BSW the dashed lines are not shown. The BSW thread is custom thread added to a new sheet in the thread.xls file and seems to work ok in every other respect. Any idea what might be wrong with it?
