Thicken / Offset error

Hi.

I've recently tried this tutorial I found on YouTube in an effort to learn more about surface modelling.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKtlNOh_Usc

I found it very helpful right up until the 15-minute mark when it comes to thickening / converting the surfaces to solid. I think I'm doing everything exactly as he / she has done it but I get an error every time. It doesn't give me any details about the cause of the error either.

Any solutions would be very much appreciated.

Let me know if I can give you any more details / send the file etc.

Thanks,

Guy

Yes, it would help if you posted your Inventor model.  Also mention the version (year) of Inventor you are using.

Hello @guy.eddington !

Thank you for coming back to thread. I am so sorry I have limited knowledge in the product...Do you have updated info how you tried to solve it? Maybe it will help others to figure out whats going on in your model.

Btw, are you kayaking? I am more camping lady, but I used to experience kayaking in Russia and Turkey 🙂
