Our company has both a Chinese design team and a French design team.
When we share drawing templates, the fonts displayed on each sides are inconsistent.
After investigation, we found that the problem was care about the Windows regional settings.
For example, I am located in mainland China, so my Windows region is set to China.
Although English is selected as the primary Windows display language, some system fonts are still region-dependent.
When we check the available system fonts, some fonts display correctly, such as Microsoft YaHei and SimSun.
When we open the Style Editor in an Inventor .idw drawing, the fonts are displayed in Chinese as 微软雅黑 and 宋体.
However, on the French side, the same fonts are displayed in English as Microsoft YaHei and SimSun.
For the past four years, we have had to change the Windows region to an English-speaking country to ensure consistent font names. However, due to a new group policy introduced this year, we can no longer change the regional settings.
Are there any methods that can help us on this topic? Thanks!
