Template question

If I open one of my templates and change the setting of a particular layer (linetype from continuous to dashed). Then resave template. The next time I open it, the linetype has reverted back to continuous?

You need to save as template to maintain the changes.

I was saving as a template, but I think I have to save my changes to the styles library

save it back to the same folder as your templates (as the template you start with) and it'll save or

save it as a template
