'Table Replace' option not showing up for members of iAssembly

so, I'm trying to get a grasp of iParts and iAssemblies, as I haven't really used them before. I looked at the guides on Autodesk's website and a couple video tutorials people have made, and all of the tutorials I can find, even the ones from Autodesk itself, are at least 2 years old if not older, a lot of them are for Inventor 2014 or 2016 and I'm using 2019. I noticed the 'Table Replace' option for the iParts I have imported into my iAssembly isn't showing up, and I need it to so I can swap them out with different sized versions of themselves. is that function jsut not in Inventor 2019 or am I doing something wrong? help.

Here are two references for you to read which may help.  The first is a Inventor Forum post and the second is Autodesk Knowledge Network article.

Hi! iPart/iAssembly workflows are largely unchanged, which is why you don't see newer learning materials. I think I know why Table Repalce does not show up on the iPart. It is because the iPart you are trying to table-replace is actually an iPart factory as opposed to an iPart member.

What you can do is to open the assembly (factory) and right-click on the iPart of interest in the browser -> Components -> Replace -> pick the same iPart factory file on disc. You will be prompted to select a member. After the factory is replaced by a member, you should see Table-Replace becomes available. If not, please share an example exhibiting the behavior.

Many thanks!

Message 3 was the solution. I had roughly the same issue. Table replace didn't show until I used the solution. Thanks @johnsonshiue

Model States is not a replacement for iParts / iAssemblies. It does not have all the same features yet and does not communicate well with our large currently in use libraries. 😞 https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/model-state-support-tabulated-parts-list/idc-p/11360616
