surface reworking

Hello,

I'm having some troubles in surfacing.

I need to change this part, in the area showed  in picture below.

Initial part.PNG

The final part should be like the following picture:

Final.PNG

I haven't found a way to do it. I have received a STP file of this part to rework it, to make my work I had to go to my old CAD package, to transform those surfaces. But I need to learn how to do it in inventor. Any Idea?

I've uploaded the initial STP file, and the desired result in the final part.

One of the drawbacks in the forum: Attaching of IPT, IAM, STEP, IGES or other formats is no more possible.

You'll have to zip it first.

Yes, that would be good, if the radius in the corner of the part, were constant. That's not the case.

Please see the diferences between  the inital part, and the final part. I had to rebuild that surface, without change the other radius.

Here's a 2018 IPT.

I used the vertices of the final STEP as an underlay.

A lot of a work around to create this...

In my old CAD it was a lot easier, And I havn't the final part as a reference, only a picture of what I needed to do.

Well, I tried to rebuild your Final part. Thus, some more projections were needed.

Doing this without any special shape is not so complicated.

Anyhow, the solution shown by S_May is straightforward.
