Hello @gregor.leban,

Not sure if there is any appearance override in the assembly or not, try to remove the color override with command Clear in the assembly and hope it helps.

Hi, try the following.
Select the sub-assembly of your tree (the one that generates the problem) and then right-click "Representation"

0.jpg
Then activate the "associated" box with the "default" configuration.

1.jpg

This should maintain the associativity of colors in your master assembly
I hope this helps solve your problem. Best Regards!!

Check the visual style, are you working in the realistic visual style on the top but Shaded in the sub-assembly?

Make sure they are working in the same visual style.

I work with shaded Visual Style everywhere.
(It does not change the color to blue if I change to Realistic)

To be able to label associative you must change the master representation view to default

The interesting thing here is, if I insert another same assembly it is in the right color:
Brez naslova.jpg

I don't have a view on the master.
And I can't upload all Assemblies here.

Have you tried to replace the component? You might experience replacing it with another and then with the same component.

Tried that now, still the same.

If you think you have found a bug, since you can not restore the component to its original state through various means, you could try to redefine each of the restrictions of this component with the new inserted component that does not cause problems.

Anyway, it is difficult to provide help without access to the file in question. You should try to replicate the error in a non-confidential file and try to attach it for analysis. Best Regards!

Hello @gregor.leban,

I took a look at the data, it appears that you are reference to a incorrect view representation, please switch to View 1 as below image.

Hope it helps!

Hi Gregor,

Many thanks for the updated attachment! It still has some parts missing but I think I know where the problem is. This is about Design View Rep (DVR). In AF_Sestav_dvojni_LAST ONE.iam, AF_ohisje_1:1 has DVR:View1 linked, but AF_ohisje_2:1 is in DVR:Master. If you want to link it to DVR:View1, right click on AF_ohisje_2:1 -> Representation -> select View1 and check Associative.

The reason why placing a new occurrence of AF_ohisje_2 appears correct is because the default open option (Tools -> App Options -> File -> Open Options -> Assembly -> DVR) is set to Last Active. So, the View1 is always the default DVR on placement.

I am not seeing the cyan color you showed in the image. That color appears wrong. You may want to install 2020.1 and see if it makes a difference.

Many thanks!

Thanks, Sergio! You just made my life better. I had a large assembly with a few parts that would not stay the color that they should be. Changing the Design View Representation on each of them to default and then clicking associative solved my problem.
