Style and Standard Editor

I have opened my drawing template, to edit the colour of Leader, I saved and closed, then went to start a new drawing and the leader is still the wrong colour.

I then went back and opened the template to check, and the leader is how I changed ie the correct colour, but the style is not updating, also when I tried to update the style, it then looses my edit

Your new drawing is still pulling the style from your style library.
Make sure you have read/write rights to your style library, then make your changes in the template and save those changes to the style library.
(save button is located with the update/purge for styles)

Hi, the save button above the update button is greyed out?

Then you do not have read/write rights, check your project file and change the setting or create a new project for the purpose of editing styles.
