Spur Gear Parameter help

Hi,

I generated spur gear with design accelerator. Now I can't understand the parameters. Means I want to know pitch circle diameter, but in parameter i can see, da_z, da_a etc. Which on is the pitch circle diameter?

And I also want other dimentions list, like module, No. of teeth etc. How can I find them?

da_z, is the teeth count...

Look at the table for making the gear ..and look at the Generator and see what matches what value ...

or attach your gears here

Thanks for your help,

but this didn't work.

I open spur gear generator and tried to match the parameters but i couldn't find the matches. then i generated new gear pair and tried again. Now new generated pair has da_d and da_dw 60 mm. In gear generator dialog box d was pitchcercle diameter with 60 mm value. means da_d and da_dw both are pitch circle diameter.

But I my previious gear pair value of this two are different ! So which value I should take as pitch cirlce, da_d or da_dw?

And Is there any way i can add a table of parameter from part file directly in drawing ?

Change one and see what happens ...

or post the set that you want values for ...and their values

Accepted solution

I don't believe so ..

I was just showing you what each value means ..

So you could go into your parameters and export them ...and populate whatever you'd like to with it.

lets trying this:

What is the end result you want to see and do?
