SOME FLANGES ARE NOT VISIBLE WHEN I TRANSFER THE SOLID MODEL TO A 2D IMAGE

When I TRANSFER THE SOLID MODEL TO 2-DIMENSIONAL PICTURE, SOME FLANGES DO NOT APPEAR. IN THE FIRST PICTURE, THE JOINT FLANGES OF THE RAILS' JOINTS APPEAR, BUT IN THE 2nd PICTURE, THE JOINTS OF THE SAME RAIL DO NOT APPEAR, There is a joint in the solid model, but when transferred to idw, the joint does not appear, can you help with this issue? Thanks for your help.

The main problem is that although I use the same flanges, it shows differently in idw format.

The iam file is empty without the files it's referencing, so we won't get much closer without additional files

A Step file will not help identify the problem with your Inventor files.

I have to repeat, that the IAM itself is useless without the parts it's referencing.

You might want to look into pack and go and zip it instead.

I can't come up with any other explanation than this being a bug

 

Maybe @johnsonshiue can shed some light on this.

 

The attached recording shows how the visibility of the plates change depending on which is visible.

The other recording shows how it knows it's there but doesn't show properly after updating the spacing between them.

Rebuild all didn't do anything to change this behaviour for me.

Edit:

Also before making the second recording, I could get both plates to show consistently if there was enough space between them. But in my attempt to find out how much or little space I could make, it decided to bug out further.

Hi! This is a very interesting case. This has something to do with the big plate, "Zemin_MG.ipt."  The part actually exceeds the valid model range. Its geometry is greater than +-100m in each X, Y, or Z direction and also the length of the geometry exceeds 100m.

If this part is invisible in the drawing, the missing flanges will come back. The flanges were missing probably because of a process called "Culling." It helps remove unnecessary detail geometry that is too narrow to print and slow down the drawing performance. You could go to Tools -> Drawing -> Line Weight Display -> "Display Line Weights." You will see the flanges won't be shown on a print out anyway.
