Slow performance opening constraints in inventor 2018.2

I Have all the latest updates using Inventor 2018.2 and I am now having issue opening the constraints button from clicking to opening can take up to 5 seconds before the constraints window opens up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I'd recommend you just wait for Autodesk to release the update again to avoid any issues..

They removed it for a reason.. Having to wait a few seconds for constraint dialog is something that is not mission critical requiring an instant fix..

Just be patient and Autodesk will have a proper fix out shortly..

2018.2.3 was released today. It should be accessible from your Account or from the Desktop App. If you filter in Accounts then please only filter for updates to "2018"; if you also filter on "Autodesk Inventor" it won't show up.

Thanks,

Chris

Will find out shortly, mind you I didn't run into any issues with the 2018.2.2 patch.

Hello,

as @ChrisMitchell01 said, you must search for 2018.2.3
But as he explained the patch is discovered only in specific conditions.
However i found the patch not by sorting with 2018 (it doesn't show to me in that way) but i found it under my All products & services -> product updates
in the first it shows "recommended" (the most unuseful) then i found "Recent" and under it -> Inventor 2018.2.3 Update Severity: High (but not recommended...)

However I really don't understand why it has to be so complicated listing and sorting updates.

In one pc it gived me errors, (like as the patch was already installed in beta, logs said), but i guess was a windows issue, after a reboot and a windows update all worked fine.
Hope it helps

I wonder why they don't want to help users of version 2016..... only 2018 update for this 'slowing' problem.

Hi! We are actively working on a solution for 2016. The fix to 2018 and 2017 is much similar. But, the fix to 2016 is not as straight forward. Also, it is not a direct porting. We are trying our best to help. I am sorry for the delay.

Many thanks!

I think that after selling a car they still work on spare parts and support for older cars. If your car brake, you do not buy a new one.
