Sketch driven pattern on part - can't follow it with bolt connection

Hello,

I have a flat part which I want to attach to a frame. Holes for bolts are drilled on the flat part (sketch driven pattern) and the part is placed on the frame.

In Bolted Connection Component Generator when Blind connection type and By hole placement are selected is possible to select only source (for sketch driven pattern) feature (hole). Are other holes seems invisible for Bolted connection. Also Follow pattern checkbox is disabled.

Please don't tell me that is imposible to populate sketch driven pattern with fasteners.

Thanks.

If you place that bolt in the parent hole of the pattern, you can still use the "feature driven pattern" at the assembly to fill the pattern.

Hope that helps you.

Hi! Indeed, like Brad said, you will need to use Feature-Based Component Pattern to do that. It does not seem to pick up the Sketch-Driven Pattern in the part.

Many thanks!
