SKETCH CONSTRAINTS MISSING

I have a sketch that uses some projected geometry and is constrained to it.  I haven't changed the feature up the tree where this comes from.  I go back later to tweak the sketch and it's all green.. meaning not constrained.  The projected geometry is no longer associated with the edge it was projected from.  Any idea what happened and how to fix easily?  Thanks

Hi! I suspect the associative project options are turned off. Go to Tools -> Application Options -> Assembly. Find the two checkboxes in the middle. They control if a terminating face becomes adaptive plane and a projected edge from another part becomes adaptive sketch. Check both boxes.

Many thanks!

This happens to me more than just the once.  I can't post the file for various reasons, but I will keep an eye out for a file I can post that it happens on.  These are my option settings.  I'm not sure which ones are the middle ones.  In any case, it's not an issue in assembly.  This is in part mode.  Base feature edge gets referenced later on.  What I believe happens is I make a change to feature #1 later (but not a change you'd expect to cause issues) and the references go south.
