Hi! Sergio,
As James pointed out in his reply, go to the Customize dialog and make sure "Use multi-character command alias" option is unchecked.
Many thanks!

Tried on multiple PCs but the problem still remains. If a change to key "K", for example, everything works fine. How can I check if the shortcut "L" is sued elsewhere?

When you press 'l' does it come up in red in the bar at the bottom of the screen?
In this area?
If so, you need to turn this off:

To see what uses which letter, click on the 'keys' heading which will sort by key. You will then see all the letters grouped together and you can check 'l'

I think I found the glitch.
By default harness and cables had the same shortcut.
I can't help but wonder, should Inventor warns the user the shortcut is used twice.

Well, that isn't the case anymore... Inventor 2023 here
I'm stuck on this now, and the above mentioned option has been disabled.

I'm a bit late, just had this issue. Fixed by deleting all the shortcuts that start with "L", there were a bunch of 2 letters shortcuts starting with "L", so when pressing "L", it was waiting for a 2nd letter it seems. Been using "L" for ages, never had any issues before 2023!
