Sheetmetal - Flange on a Curved Part Cut-out

Hi All

Need help please.

In Sheetmetal, ive got a curved plate made with Contour Roll.

In the middle of the plate Ive got a cut-out, on this cut out I need to make a flange.

Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks, but how did you do it?

Will I be able to flat pattern it, Laser Cut and Bend afterwards?

It should work,

Flat Pattern would look something like this.

Thank you for the help.

It unfortunately wont work because im not able to create a flat pattern from that.

I am struggling to read your language so it might be my fault. 😀

I have however found a way to do this.

Convert to standard part,

Workplane half way

Manually draw the flange with correct fillet and material thickness

Extrude but leave relief for bend

Convert back to sheetmetal

Hope this makes sense.

Convert back to sheetmetal and it is now able to flat pattern.

Your method is good, except there is no need to convert to standard part and then back to sheet metal.  The ordinary modeling tools work as usual in sheet metal parts.  Just use BendRadius for the radius and attach the sketch to the sheet metal edges and all is well.  See @kacper.suchomski 's similar method.
