sheet metal punch - missing, although removing material

I have a problem with overlapping punches.

If there are 3 punches overlapping created using pattern, or in fact independent, every one of those removes  some material, but middle one is lost and tis center is not retrieved on to the flat pattern drawing.

So non of the punches is redundant, but one is lost from model to drawing.

Model looks correct, as all 3 punches are created correctly and overall shape of material removed is correct for 3 pounces.

Does anyone know how to solve this, to have all punches retrieved?

Cris.

Hi Cris,

This might be tricky. I think depending on the options in Flat Pattern definition, the FP body may have punch tools removed. This process was designed to work with non-overlapped punches. Please send me the Inventor files directly johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the punch removal behaviors better.

Many thanks!
