separate 1 part into multiple parts

attached is a basic IV2012 part made as 1.....can i separate the 2 features and make 2 independant parts from the single part?

If yes can i then use these separate parts and place in assemblies?

Hi Terry__Close, 

When you create the features as seperate solid bodies you can use the Make Components tool to derive out each solid body as part files and have them placed into an assembly. To find the make components tool go to the Manage tab.

Edit the Revolve feature and select the New Solid Option.

Then on the Manage tab select Make Components to push out to individual part files.
