Save and Replace function : how to change default folder to last used folder - Inventor 2026

I’m experiencing an issue in Inventor 2026. The Save and Replace option always defaults to the workspace instead of returning to the last used folder. In previous versions, it would consistently go back to the last folder used. Is there away to change this?

I tried this but haven't figured out the key steps to reproduce the issue.
Could you let me know if you are using a default project or a customized Inventor project? Is the last used folder in your project scope? Any sample to reproduce the issue is appreciated.

Hi Leo, Thanks so much for the reply.

Sorry I'm not 100% sure on what you mean by 'default project' or a 'customized Inventor project'. I have always created a .ipj project file for each of my clients when creating designs for them. I think I'm using a 'customised project' .
