I think these stats are wrong, as I've only just rebooted my machine and restated Inventor

Screen Shot 08-05-26 at 01.32 AM.PNG

Total Occurrence In Active Document 2055 total occurrence of what though, and according to the AI I haven't got that many occurrence in the two documents that are open

Open Documents This Session 538 NOW this is what I can understand as I've only got two separate documents open in a NEW session of about 5 mins. And here I've ONLY got two documents open

So these stats are a load of rubbish

538 files opened, ipt, iam, idw.

Any part that are used multiple times are Occurrence.  ie bolts, nuts.  Anything in pattern.

A drawing/assembly will load all files in it.  Any file: ipt, iam, ipn.  Referenced, adapted included.

Your active document has 2055 components in it.

Your Session has 538 unique components in it.

I have noticed that when iParts/iAssemblies are involved what is displayed can diverge from what the AI reads.

What are the two documents you have open? Do the numbers appear remotely reasonable?

It looks like the only options you have are turning it on or off.

Hi Paul,

The number on the left is about the number number of component instances (not documents) in the active document. For example, if you have an assembly opened, which contains PartA:1, PartA:2, and PartB:1, you will see the left number 3 (three parts) and the number on the right 3/3 (3 parts over 3 documents, PartA, PartB, and Assembly).

The number on the left persists per document. The one on the right persists across entire session. In some cases, the numbers could be wrong due to corruption (ghosted instances). In general, the numbers should follow the above rules.

Many thanks!
