Rotate around model

I want to fly around my model 360°. if I am in front, bottom, right, etc view, there are 2 arrow to rotate (see attach). When in 3d view they are not present. How do i rotate around my model, after pessing "home" (3d view)

I think this might be what you are looking for:

Right-click on the viewcube and select "options"

Enable the compass, this will show a ring below the viewcube that allows you to rotate in an isometric view.
