Roller Chain Generator with Open Loop

Looking for a way to model a chain/cylinder used to lift a table assembly up and down.

Basically there will be an air cylinder with a sprocket at the end then the chain will run up and around 2 idler sprockets and then back down and be solid mounted to the table that is to be lifted making an "M" shape if you will.

I tried the roller chain generator but I can only get it to generate a closed loop chain path. Is there a way to use the chain generator for this? I can do manual but would prefer to use the generator so that I can have access to the calculations that it provides.

Hi

Belts and chains have a symbolic form. You can model the mechanism using the generator, then edit the component and manually trim the chain to the desired form.
