1st, I'd update to 2024.3, may not help much, but stranger things...
Next, I'd check if the mouse needs an update driver (is it a 3DConnexion as well?)
If it's a wireless mouse, check the dongle on another system. I've had those fail numerous times.
A simple nudge can render them useless.

Hi! Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated. Also install the latest update to your Inventor release.
Are you using dual monitor? Can you make the monitor you focus more as the main monitor?
