Removing coordinate origin on part

I was working on a part recently and when I opened it back up it had this weird coordinate origin attached to it. It is carried through all assemblies, and when you zoom out it gets larger. Its quite inconvenient, how do I get rid of it or turn it off? See pic:

Hi jessedew,

What version of Inventor are you using? And do you have the latest updates for that version installed?

There was a bug that caused the Center of Gravity (COG) to display like that, but it has been fixed in an update. See link, and just post back if that does not resolve it for you.

Inventor Center of Gravity will not turn off in an assembly

I hope this helps.

I HATE how they do that.. The linked article is CLEARLY about 2015 and 2016 and they release a fix but only for 2016..

And they have been releasing updates for 2015 AFTER the fix was available.. It should have been included in any of the updates to SP2 for 2015..

@Anonymous Are you 100% up to date with 2015? I think Update 6 for SP2 is the latest.. Not sure if the fix was included but just left out of the "readme" showing what was addressed..

Hi jessedew,

Also can you confirm that if you just go to the View tab > Visibility panel and click the Center Of Gravity button, that it does not turn off.

If it does, then then this is likely not related to the bug, but just that the COG triad was left turned on in the past, etc.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Thank you! This did the trick. It was actually off, but I clicked to turn it on, then again to turn it off and it disappeared.

Thanks for all the help.
