stripe on tube

Hello,

I have this 2016 part created in an assembly environment.

Is it possible to make a 15mm Stripe run the entire length of the Tube on the outside wall. The Stripe will be Red in color and have no thickness. I thought maybe i need to split the tube somehow and color but i don`t know how to perform

I have a final question

How would you add text on the Stripe at each Bend in the Tube....Text to 5 Bends (excludes the 250 size bend in the 3D Sketch).....text would wrap onto the surface-----Text says "Rated 300kPa"

That's a bit tricky. You will need offset workplanes everywhere you want to add the text. Then use the emboss feature.

Glad I could help.

Just one thing, I see your sketches are Adaptive. The sweeps should update fine if your sketches changes.

The offset workplanes might be a problem if this changes much.
