I couldn’t get any clue from Post #2 how to fix the error.

Is it possible to fix the error with rearranging the features in the browser and without tinkering the sketch.

Edit sketch2... Delete the pink dimension (d22).. Press rebuild all.. Errors will then go away..

Sorry I made a mistake you need to edit Sketch 4 not sketch 2..

Fix Sketch 4.. delete the pink d22 dimension and then press rebuild all and all your errors will be gone.

Blair (post #2) should have said that you could have mirrored Extrusion 3 and Extrusion 4 at one time so you did not have 2 mirror features.

It was only a suggestion though and you do NOT have to do that if you do not want to..

I deleted Mirror1 & 2 from the feature and highlighted Extrusion3 and Extrusion4 to get their mirror image but attempt failed. What is the reason?

As we have already said.. The pink dimension in sketch 4 is the problem..

You MUST fix that first before you attempt to mirror..

Specifically,

Post #2 - the original response. @blair Sketch4 is over constrained, delete the "pink" dimension. This will fix your issue.

Post #21 @mcgyvr Edit sketch2... Delete the pink dimension (d22).. Press rebuild all.. Errors will then go away..

Post #23 @mcgyvr Sorry I made a mistake you need to edit Sketch 4 not sketch 2..

Fix Sketch 4.. delete the pink d22 dimension and then press rebuild all and all your errors will be gone.

I have deleted all the lines still error message is coming. Only highlighted sketches have to be mirrored. How can line be a stumbling block for mirror image.

I couldn’t understand logic behind this.

I do not see where anyone mentioned deleting any lines?

I do not see your new file attached?

Are we supposed to guess?

What does an i in a circle mean?

What would you call this thing where the red arrow is pointing?

Would you call that a "Pink Dimension"?  Logic: (It is a dimension, yes/no?  It is the color "pink", yes/no)?

Saying Edit sketch 4 is not enough. What should be done on editing can be a great helpful for a novice.

In the Post#2 it was said:

Sketch4 is over constrained, delete the "pink" dimension.

So far I know constrained dimension is in bracket. Now only I know colour shows over constrained dimension as well.

Why same message but with the different display?

I may be confused Driven Dimension with Constrain Dimension I don't know.

Now mirror image is okay.

Thanks for your explanation.

1. No.  That is not correct.  Dimension like this (1.00) is a reference dimension, a driven dimension.

2. Pink color is a "sick" driving dimension.  A driven (reference) and driving dimension is not the same thing.

3. So these are completely different meanings.

A driving dimension controls the model.  (A "sick" (pink) driving dimension cannot control.)

A driven dimension is controlled by the model.  It is for reference only.
