Reference part in 1 idw only, not in others, how ?

Hi,

Is there a possibility to have a part are an assembly set as reference in 1 drawing (idw) only ?

Now, when I set as reference, it is as referenced every where. That is ofcours not what I want.

Any solutions ?

Thanks.

Hi,

When you say set it as reference I assume that you're changing the document settings of the part and making it reference. That way it will  be reference everywhere.

For a part with its BOM structure still as normal, you can right click on it in the assembly browser, find BOM structure, and set it to reference there. It will only be reference in that particular assembly.

Is this what you're trying to achieve?

Hi @dave.cutting ,

Yes, this is it. Thanks!

I changed the BOM in the assembly, and then it went wrong.
