Hello,
I was looking what exactly gets installed into PC when installing Inventor.
I found this list that corresponds with what I found in my PC.
I dont understand why are these components installed by Inventor:
- Autodesk RSA Engine
- Autodesk REX Framework
- Autodesk REX Inventor
RSA is likely Robot Structural Analysis and REX is some kind of development tool for Revit extensions?
I dont understand why these get installed even if I dont use Robot nor Revit.
Any idea? Are they even required for Inventor or is this just bloat?
I also dont exactly understand Geospatial Coordinate Systems which gets pulled in by RealDWG Shared.
I guess RealDWG Shared is required for writing .dwg files if you use them instead of .idw? But Geospatial Coordinate Systems seems again like something more in line with Revit where you can actually need precise GPS coordinates. But for regular Inventor usage it seems unnecessary.
I like to install only things I need without unnecessary bloat.
So can anyone offer explanation about these components and why they arent optional?
Thanks.
