Proper workflow on custom step drill profile, perhaps with derived parts

 Hi,

First time poster, tried searching this with no luck. I have an electrical connector requires many concentric holes, threads and other detail in order to mount onto a metal enclosure, and I have many different such connectors. What's the best way to make this information portable? Derived parts inherently save metal and are hard to line up. I just want to capture the tooling required to make the correct impression in the metal.

Can you give us more details? some screenshots, images or your attempt?
