Project Geometry

Hi,

I would like to create a line along the lines indicated by red. 

I tried by projecting edges, but it is not success ?

It seems works fine in my end, can you please share more information such as a video might be great help to find the gaps between workflows from my side and yours.

Hi! Project command in 2D Sketch is like a combo command. Is it "Project Geometry" enabled?

That's Great !

I just activated and now I can create the line from projecting edges.

Now another issue arises, COULDN'T TRIM ?

How I can Trim ?

Hi! Unfortunately, the projected sketch cannot be trimmed. You can delete the project constraint but it will no longer be associative to the edges. Or, you can create another line on top of it so you can trim it.

What is this? I am not so familiar with CAD. My workplace does use it but I really am not so concerned with that work. I am trying to learn and I try reading up as much as I can to learn
