Default workspace directory for Autodesk Inventor is D:\InvWorkDir .Currently the project file(ipj file) is also placed at the same location.Need clarification whether the project file can be moved to some other location with the workspace still defined as 'D:\InvWorkDir' within the project file.Will there be any impact due to this change during opening inventor files.
We use TCAI bulk loader to load inventor files to Teamcenter.The bulkloader tool while clearing the cache it also deletes the project file from work directory.That is the reason we want to keep the project file in some othe rlocation.
When you open your project file in another path, you'll get this warning:If you click OK, it updates the workspace path as the current path of project file. This may cause some complications.
