Problem with representations

i have made a table with drawers and im trying to make two representations, one with the drawers closed and the other with drawers open, but the value override is grayed out, how can i fix this

Don't use representations, use an iassembly.  Place the distance constraint in the imember table and have a different setting for each member.

Seems they solved their own problem but hopefully that was through "positional representations"..

iAssemblies could be used I suppose but thats a bit much IMO for such a task.
