problem instaling R3

Hi,

I was trying to install recent R3 update for AI 2017.

 

I got this.

 

User I use is user with administrator privileges and I normally install software.

 

R3 instal problem.png

FWIW.. It worked just fine for me..

I installed right from the desktop app without issues..

Cris - I assume that if you click through the warning that 2017.3 still installed OK You should see build 233 from Inventor help About.

You simply hit the "Retry" button on the dialog shown below & the install will proceed.

@ChrisMitchell01  Off topic.. But if the R3 installer read me says you must reboot after installation why does the installer not just do that for you automatically?

The installer will prompt you to reboot if it's "really" needed. Otherwise the comment in the ReadMe file is a simple good practice.
