Please, I don't want to have to edit registry files or what ever code that inventor runs in, it should literally just be a setting in the "customize"

Devs have already pointed out all the bugs in regards to putting so many binds on every character, Please allow for the user to edit them as needed.

Pressing C when just in the environment should not pull up "Engineering Notebook".

What's the logic to not being able to edit this

Which version are you running? 2024.2 does not have it:

Your picture refers to the Engineer's Handbook, not the Engineer's Notebook.  Not the same thing.

@TGibson7A8HD seems to be correct that the Notebook is not in the Customize menu.  However, it also isn't a hotkey.  What he's actually talking about is a keyboard shortcut that only exists when you're already in the right-click menu.  Not sure I understand why that's such a big problem - why is there a need to right-click on an object and hit "C" if the Engineer's Notebook is not what you want?

They said it makes inventor unstable. Autodesk needs to add an ability to just unbind C

"They"?  Who?

Disabling commands won't make IV unstable.

Have you tried it?  Did IV crashed more?

I can make it into addin.

PS Did some test.

With Notebook command disabled.

I can still read and edit already created notes.

Just can't add new notes.
