Pasting Excel Table into Inventor Drawing Lose all formatting

I have been having an issue with pasting an excel table into Inventor 2017 idw. At the company I work for we paste in tables with specific information that customers need, and we have a design with borders, colors, bold text, etc. Before, any time we would paste that table in, it would show all the formatting, but for the past 2 weeks for some reason, we can paste the table with the information, but the formatting is completely lost. The colors disappear, the font changes and the borders are gone. Has anyone else had this same problem, and if so do you have a solution? Thanks!

Are you using paste or paste special?

Try both..

I don't have 2017 so I can't comment on if its a bug or not..

Does it only do it with one specific file or all files/all excel tables?

What has changed in the past 2 weeks?  Have you upgraded?  Loaded service packs?  Has your OS changed or had upgrades downloaded?  Has your office upgraded?

Hi! Could you define what you meant by pasting the table? Did you link the Excel file to General Table command? Or, you insert the Excel file has an object. Or, you copy the table content from Excel and paste it to Inventor text or table?

Many thanks!

I'm using paste special because as soon as I copy the excel table the paste option is grayed out.

This problem we've been having is anything to do with excel, not just one file.

No recent upgrades or service packs when that problem started. We have since loaded the last inventor 2017 updates but that still has not fixed the problem. The text gets pasted over with color but the thick borders and the colored backgrounds don't transfer over. We plan to upgrade in the next couple of months anyways but I would still like to find a solution to this.
