Parts List Text Line Spacing

Hello all,

I'm curious as to whether there's options other than "single, double and triple" line spacing for text in a parts list/table. The single spacing is almost the height of the text itself, and would much prefer if the lines were closer -- basically looking for an "exactly" option. Changing the text style didn't affect the text within the parts list either.

Thanks in advance!

Set it to anything you desire.  The Row Gap setting in your Styles Library for Parts List is the gap between the test and the parts list cell wall vertically.

Thanks for the reply! I thought that only affected the space between text and cellwall, not the text spacing as well. I'm guessing there's no way to separate those two? As in, keep a bigger gap between text and cellwall, but text within the cell closer together?

Hi! You could create custom Text style and then assign such Text style in the PartsList style. It can be a bit tricky because a table text height may be influenced by several variables (row height, row gap, text height, spacing, and text box).

Many thanks!

Thanks for the reply Johnson,

from what I've been able to deduce, it seems that if an entries text wraps down to a second line, it places another cell but with the line invisible. It seems the only way to reduce that gap is to lower the "row gap" value as jhackney suggested. This causes the spacing in all cells to be reduced though -- with the font we are using, lowering that gap to bring wrapped text closer together causes single-line entries to merge with the cell walls/overlap into other cells. I did try what you suggested, with the alternate text style specific to the parts list table, but to no avail.
