Adding angular dimensions when there is no second edge to select

I'm trying to figure out If there's a way to dimension to a second linear edge when placing a dimension to get the outcome I have attached.  I did this by selecting "get model sketches" and then using the left vertical edge of the sketch that was used to get the angled cut.  After turning visibility off of sketch though it hides the dim as well.

When you make lines in a drawing sketch, they come in as construction lines that don't show up in the main environment.  While editing the sketch, select the lines you want visible, then under the Annotation tab on your Ribbon on the far right you can choose to put those lines under another layer that will make them visible, I'm guessing you'll want to make them a Hidden line to show dashes.

You could use the old AutoCAD method - draw it yourself.

1. Click on the view.

2. Hit S on the keyboard.

3. Project the point.

4. Sketch the line.

5. Exit sketch.

6. Add the angle dimension.

7. Be thankful that you don't have to resort to doing every line the old AutoCAD way.

Another option might be to Retrieve the model dimension (depending on how it was modeled).
