Opening an Inventor drawing file in AutoCAD

When I open a drawing file (DWG) from Inventor, in AutoCAD, the projections appear as in the attached image. Why?
And another question, even the projections that open in AutoCAD, I cannot modify them, even though I exported the file in Inventor in DWG format.

Thanks in advance.

If the views in Inventor are set to raster (Image) instead of Precise (Vector) then it will do that in AutoCAD. It is easy to fix just open the drawing in Inventor and Right click in any open area on the drawing with nothing selected and select "Make All Views Precise" You will see Raster views will have Green Edges on the views, when they are precise the green edges will disappear.

If you disable the below setting it should prevent the program from creating the views as raster.

I agree with @JonathanKruger - that'll be the cause of the "bitmap" issue.

Regarding "I cannot modify them, even though I exported the file in Inventor in DWG format.":  If you saved the drawing as Inventor DWG, then the Inventor model still "owns" the drawing.  (Change the model and the drawing will update.)

If you want an AutoCAD DWG (one that is not linked back to the Inventor model) then you need to use Inventor's File > Export > Export DWG.

Hi! When an Inventor dwg file is opened in AutoCAD, it is mainly for annotation purpose. You cannot edit the views. If you want to use AutoCAD as the primary drafting tools, you can use VIEWBASE command to create associative drawing views for the Inventor components.

Or, you can export the Inventor dwg file as an AutoCAD dwg file but the association with Inventor components will be broken.

Another less known workflow to export is to leverage AutoCAD EXPORTLAYOUT command. Simply open the Inventor dwg file in AutoCAD -> EXPORTLAYOUT. Each sheet can be exported as a separate AutoCAD dwg file.

Many thanks!
