Closest I've found is to create the indented note in Word then copy & paste into the Inventor text box. Any attempt to then change it in Inventor will lose the formatting so you have to keep the Word copy for future updates.

Inventor has very limited/basic "Numbering/List" functionality in the text box..

All you can do is single level basic numbering which is helpful as it will automatically adjust numbering as rows are modified but is certainly missing sub levels,etc..

I'd recommend simplifying your intended text to match Inventors functionality vs having to keep working in Word.

Hi! Or, link the Word doc as an OLE object (Insert Object -> Link).

Many thanks!

Hey all,

I will take all your advice here moving forward so this is good to know.  My note instructions are getting to the point where an OLE does make sense.
