No Style list on the Standard toolbar (Standard toolbar?)

Hi Inventor Experts,

I tried to create a centerline, per instructions in the online tutorial as
follows:

Tip: To create a centerline, draw a line, select it, then select Centerline
from the Style list on the Standard toolbar.

Unfortunately there is no "Style list" available and my Standard toolbar
doesn't seem to exist. I have a fresh copy of Inventor 6 that was installed
from the CD with all of the current Service Packs already included.

I don't see any posts on this newsgroup on this issue. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Wally

I saw it happen once. Close Inventor, re-open and it was there.

Hi Charles,

Thanks for the advice.

I found out what the problem was. The tutorial window is placed on the
right side of my screen by the default setup that comes with the program.
Inventor occupies the remainder of the screen on the left. Unfortunately
the tutorial covers up the options for line styles. These can be viewed
only if the Inventor screen is maximized. This is just another example of
why I dislike menus and prefer AutoLISP and the availability of a command
line. Too bad it is gone forever with the introduction of programs like
Inventor.

Best regards,

Wally

Hi Quinn,

Thanks for the advice. When I do my upgrade I'll keep that in mind.

Best regards,

Wally
