Dealing with parts i can cut a face into 2 for apply finish feature only to a part of that face. If i have a machined surface in iam there is no possibility to cut the face into 2 for apply finish feature, or i missed something?

The only way I can think of to accomplish this is to do the machining as two separate features, one very slightly offset from the other.  It would be nice to have a Split Face feature available in the machining environment, but this seems like a pretty uncommon need (in my experience).

If you can post files here and let us know what you're hoping to accomplish I'm sure somebody will have a better idea.

Hello
You can always go into the part and do the face Split there. After that, execute the machining with the required face in the assembly.
